About us

VNU - Vietnam Japan University (VJU) was established with the vision of becoming a “Center of Excellence”. With the support from Vietnamese and Japanese governments as well as universities and corporates of both Japan and Vietnam, VJU offers opportunities for young generation to access high - quality education with the goal of acquiring “Knowledge for Sustainable Future”.

In collaboration with leading universities in Japan, VJU developed its unique and comprehensive research and education programs. Its partner universities cooperated not only in designing curricula, but also in daily education and research. There is a team of elite professors from Japanese universities, who make up 50% of the lecturers, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and other well-known universities, who work closely with the faculty members and students of VJU.

With strong supports from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Japanese partner universities, and Governments of Vietnam and Japan, VJU successfully created an international academic environment with a solid quality assurance system in place. VJU is bringing talented students and scientists together to work, study and create future together. The university is expected to become a flagship research university in Asia for advanced technologies and interdisciplinary sciences, leveraging competitive edges of both countries for sustainable development.
