Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is a polytechnic institute that offers more than 100 career programs in technology, trades, and business. It is well known for providing applied education. It is Calgary's second oldest post-secondary institution and Canada's first publicly funded technical institute. Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) was established in 1916 and located in Calgary, Alberta in Canada.

SAIT offers three baccalaureate degrees (2019), three applied degrees, 73 diploma and certificate programs, 37 apprenticeship trades, and more than 1,000 continuing education and corporate training courses. It offers these courses in the field of Business, Construction, Energy, Health and Public Safety, Hospitality and Tourism, Information and Communications Technologies, Manufacturing and Automation, and Transportation. This university is a global leader in applied education and offers 100+ career programs, 1,300+ continuing courses, and many corporate training courses to more than 200 companies annually.

SAIT enriches almost all the diverse fields and hence has 8 schools for its students. It has a school for business to hospitality to transportation and many others to provide the best of education to the students who are inclined to any particular area. Because of its extensive network of donors, alumni, and industry partners, SAIT boasts over CAD 5 million in bursaries and awards to its students across 4,200 awards. 
- SAIT Polytechnic helps the students of Canada through the Student Loan. To enable this loan, the student should be a resident of Canada or a citizen of Canada.
- The Student Loan can be provided under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. If the student is a resident, then the aid is in the form of a Student loan.

The university has welcomed international students from more than 140 different countries. They also offer labs, study area and libraries among other amenities. SAIT, along with academic excellence, also focuses on the applicability of the knowledge. Hence with all the books available to the students, the college also has various clubs and committees to teach the students how to tackle problems in real life.
