The Department invites applications for the Assistant Lecturer post(s) for the Sports Medicine Team. Applicants should (i) have a Master degree in Athletic Training, Sports Science, Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine or related health sciences disciplines; (ii) possess certification in athletic training, exercise science or strength and conditioning; (iii) have an excellent command of spoken and written English; and (iv) preferably have teaching and/or research experience at tertiary institutions / clinical setting.
The appointee(s) will assist in (a) implementing and teaching Sports Medicine and Health Science postgraduate programme and certificate courses; (b) the design of curriculum and development of course materials; (c) managing daily operation and maintenance of the sports clinics / fitness center; (d) promoting the advancement of sports medicine through services to the profession/ industry and the community; and (e) undertaking other administrative duties.
The appointee(s) will station at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Appointment(s) will initially be made on contract basis for one year starting from October 2024, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
