Applicants should have (i) a medical qualification (approved for registration with the Hong Kong Medical Council); (ii) a higher qualification in a medical specialty acceptable to the Faculty; (iii) experience in teaching medical students (honorary or adjunct teacher in a medical school is also acceptable); and (iv) developed local leadership and portfolio in one or two of the following areas: clinical skills teaching, simulation, workplace assessment, medical assessments, bioethics, professionalism, communication skills, e-learning or any other areas of medical education.
The appointee will teach medical students at the Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH) or associated teaching units. He/she should be dedicated to the development of medical education in addition to fulfilling some clinical duties as a clinician at PWH or associated teaching units.
Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to three years, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
