  • About This Opportunity

    This position provides a high level of executive and administrative support to the Academic Dean & Head of School (HoS) and Deputy Head of School (DHoS). The Executive Assistant will be required to perform a full range of secretarial and administrative support functions.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage executive correspondence, diaries, and contact lists; prepare materials and briefings for meetings; draft routine and complex correspondence.

  • Organise travel, reimbursements, and reconcile expenses; assist with organizing staff meetings, strategic planning, and maintain effective administrative procedures.

  • Coordinate annual staff appraisals, support recruitment activities, and perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage competing work demands effectively in a high-volume environment, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying social statuses.

  • High-level organizational skills, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

  • Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn relevant University policies and procedures, with previous experience in a tertiary education setting being advantageous.

  • Completion of a degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.

  • The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
