Executive Officer, Human Resources and Administration in the Clinical Trials Centre (Ref.: 528859)

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under the University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) and is dedicated to managing and facilitating international- standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices and medical technologies. HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who pursue career advancement and success. We are seeking a high calibre candidate to join our Corporate Services & Administration Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, screening, interview, staff onboarding, leave management, professional development and exit management, etc.;
  • Work closely with different operation teams in identifying manpower requirements
  • Provide regular HR reporting and data analysis;
  • Assist in developing recruitment strategy;
  • Assist in preparing employment and package recommendations for Senior Management's consideration;
  • Assist in planning, developing, implementing human resources and administrative services' policies, procedures, and monitoring workflows to achieve operational efficiency;
  • Liaise with internal and external parties for employee activities and events; and
  • Provide supports for ad hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in human resources and/or administration;
  • Good coordination, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to prepare documents and correspondences independently;
  • Detail-minded, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and self- motivated;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is a must.
  • The appointment will be made on a two-year fixed-term full-time contract, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
