Part-time Instructors (Full-time – Higher Diploma and Diploma Programmes)
The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS), founded in 1965, is a self-financing extension unit of the University with its mission to provide quality lifelong education to members of the community of all ages. The School offers a wide variety of full-time and part-time post-secondary, professional and continuing education programmes, general courses and corporate training in diversified disciplines. CUSCS now invites applications for the posts of Part-time Instructor to provide support in teaching and programme quality assurance to the School's Higher Diploma and Diploma programmes.
Applicants should possess (i) a Master's degree in a related discipline; (ii) at least 2 years' teaching/ professional experience; (iii) good presentation skills; (iv) good connections with related sectors; and preferably with (v) knowledge of and experience in developing course materials. The appointees must be able to teach during daytime on weekdays for one whole semester starting from January 2025.
The appointees will teach one or more of the following disciplines and perform other teaching-related duties:
Business and Administration

Professional Communication and Public Relations
Digital Literacy for Communication, Communication Theory and Practice, Interpersonal/ Cross-cultural Communication, Organisational Communication, Copywriting, Public Relations Writing
Educational Services
Education Policy and Management, Understanding and Supporting Students with Diverse Needs, Health and Wellbeing of Students, Crisis Communication and Student Support, Data Collection and Application in Education
IT, Multimedia and Advertising
Database Management, Computer Networks, Web Programming (Front-End/ Back- End), Unity Programming, Android Mobile Application, Unix/ Linux Scripting and Administration, Information Technology Applications, Foundations of Digital Media, Creativity and Visual Presentation, Digital Marketing for Online Advertising
Social Work
Social Work with Young People, Programme Planning, Management and Evaluation, Psychology, Fieldwork Supervision (applicants should be a RSW and have at least 5 years' experience in social work practice after their social work degree for practice courses and fieldwork supervision)
