The Centre for China Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Part-time Lecturer to teach a course on Contemporary Chinese Art in the MA in Chinese Studies programme in Term 2, 2024-2025.
Applicants should (i) have completed a PhD in a relevant discipline; (ii) have some experience of teaching at the tertiary level; (iii) ideally have published in areas relating to their teaching. Applications should include a full CV and a covering letter, as well as an initial draft course outline for a course on Contemporary Chinese Art appropriate to taught masters students.
The MA in Chinese Studies is an interdisciplinary programme primarily taught in English, which offers a wide range of courses. Details of the programme can be found on the CCS website (https: // www. ccs.cuhk.edu.hk/programmes/ma-in- chinese-studies/).
Appointment will be made on a contract basis covering Term 2, 2024-25 (January to May 2025). There would be a possibility of additional teaching in subsequent years.
