The Department of Experimental Biology at the Faculty of Science MU is a modern, fully equipped workplace where individual research groups are engaged in research at all levels - from molecules and cells to invertebrates and humans; from basic research to the application of results in human and veterinary biomedicine.

Description of the offered position

Involvement in the educational process of undergraduate and graduate students of experimental plant biology (teaching and thesis supervision)

Research activities in the field of symbiosis of plants and microorganisms

Searching for funding opportunities and applying for research projects, solving ongoing projects

Assisting in the promotional events for the public of Section of Experimental biology of plants

Skills and Qualifications

MSc. university degree and professorship in the field of Plant biology, Microbiology or related biological fields

Long-term research and publication activities in the field of plant physiology and soil mikrobiology

Proved ability to apply and successfully conduct grant research projects

Ability to present results of research in Czech and English languages

Ability to teach subject focused on plant mycorrhizal interactions in the Czech language (native speaker or documented C1 language certificate)

Good knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)

Active approach to applying for national and international research projects
