  • About the Role/You

    We are on the lookout for an energetic and innovative Property Business Partner to join our team. In this exciting role, you will proactively identify and analyse client needs, crafting creative solutions that drive our business forward. You'll be the linchpin coordinating activities across multiple PSG teams, ensuring everyone stays in the loop and projects move smoothly.

    Your key responsibilities will include spearheading the strategic assessment and planning of projects, from concept planning and options development to feasibility assessment and brief delivery. You'll also connect with the stakeholder leadership team to stay updated on their activities and priorities, pinpointing where PSG can step in to help. Plus, you'll be the go- to advisor, educating business managers on how best to engage with PSG and make the most of our services.

    To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and advisory within a large complex organisation.

  • An ability to understand issues at both a broad strategic level and at a detailed operational level.

  • Excellent analytical, planning, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to undertake a consultative approach, display emotional intelligence and initiative when addressing complex problems and providing advice for varied audiences.

  • Project initiation experience including the ability to translate strategy into tangible projects. Lead the planning, options development, feasibility assessment and project brief development for all levels of Property initiatives.

  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence others, including a proven capacity to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present complex options in a concise and clear manner for executive consideration.

    About the Group

    PSG has approximately 115 staff and has the responsibility to operate, maintain and enhance the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University, oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical facilities services.

    The Group has an operating budget in excess of $70M and prospective capital projects of over $70M per annum for the next few years. RMIT's built environment involves approximately 109 buildings in Melbourne spread across all of RMIT's campuses and sites.
