  • The Opportunity

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a Research Fellow to contribute towards the research efforts of the Department of Design. This is an opportunity to join an interdisciplinary research team using creative approaches to investigate anticipatory policy making practice.

    Part of an ARC Discovery Grant, the Research Fellow will be responsible for collaborating to co-design and conduct research and develop written and creative outputs. They will also contribute and develop their own practice-led expertise on design for social impact, policy design and design ethnographic research methodologies.

    The successful candidate will hold a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline area, and have demonstrated qualitative and creative research skills; including a solid track record of refereed research publications and design outputs. The ideal candidate will also have practice experience in designing for social impact, policy design and/or design ethnography, as well as skills in ethnographic filmmaking and creative visual communication.
