  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

  • About You The Senior Curriculum Developer will work collaboratively with the Innovation Projects team, College of Vocational Education industry clusters, our delivery team, industry and students to develop program structures and delivery models. As part of this development, the Senior Curriculum Developer will co-design and develop program structures, assessments, RPL strategies and individualised learning pathways.

    To be successful in this position, you'll have / you'll have as a minimum:

  • Expert knowledge of Training Package qualifications and accredited courses i.e. vocational education competency-based training, ASQA, AQF and CRICOS requirements.

  • Working knowledge of apprenticeship and traineeship programs and requirements.

  • Capacity to consult with and involve internal and external stakeholders in planning and design processes.

  • Experience in the development of training & assessment tools applicable to a range of business programs or disciplines in a vocational educational setting.

  • Experience in designing VET and HE pathways and preparing TAS documents.

  • High-level interpersonal and professional communication skills to work effectively with individuals and teams of staff with different levels of technical and VET knowledge.

  • Ability to deliver educational projects within budget and time allocations.

  • Qualifications

    A postgraduate qualification in education is desirable.

    The Innovation Projects team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of funded projects, aiming to embed new educational models and projects, develop rich course resources and enhance our technological footprint. We use our well- developed project management and co-design approaches to ensure projects are high quality and aligned to industry needs.

    Our key functions:

    • Designing and developing new educational models and programs

    • Re-imagining and producing curriculum and course resources

    • Enhancing the use of technology to deliver pedagogical solutions
