About the Position
A new position is now available for a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Lead to join the People and Culture team at Bond University. Reporting to the Deputy Director/Head of Partnering, this pivotal role will be integral to developing and implementing recruitment strategies that attract, engage with, and hire top talent across all Faculties and Offices.

The position will collaborate closely with managers and People & Culture Business Partners to ensure recruitment efforts align with the University’s goals and values to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce. The incumbent will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary talent acquisition methods and systems, as well as a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, including visa laws.  You will be able to utilise HR data and metrics to drive recruitment decisions and improve the overall hiring process, and have experience in utilising HRIS/recruitment systems to streamline and enhance the recruitment process. The position will have one direct report.

About the person

The successful incumbent will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within the higher education sector.
  • Exceptional knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws and regulations (including visa laws), and diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • The proven ability to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that support organisational objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and inspire a small team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, with experience operating HRIS/recruitment.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $ 109,525.60 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
