  • We are seeking a Team Leader to contribute to the course migration activity for the new Adelaide University. You will work for the University of South Australia and work across Teaching Innovation Unit (TIU) at UniSA, Learning Enhancement & Innovation (LEI) at the University of Adelaide (UoA) and the Integration Management Office (IMO).

    About the role

    As the Team Leader (AU Course Migration) you will be responsible for coordinating all resources for the Course Development Team's Adelaide University (AU) Course Migration activity, ensuring tasks are appropriately assigned, completed on time and to the required standard. Your role is essential in maintaining an efficient and effective workflow within the team and will work closely with the Resource Manager (AU Course Development) to develop strategies to mitigate escalations from Course Development, Course Migration and Academic staff.

    You will also work in collaboration with the Team Leader Course Development Resources (AU Course Development) and Media Production and Resource Manager (AU Course Development) to ensure alignment of Course Development support activity within the Course Development team and the overarching vision for Curriculum Development.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate a team involved in course migration support, ensuring tasks are assigned appropriately, progress is accurately tracked and completed on time
  • Coordinate course migration support activity across the Course Migration team, ensuring staff are engaged to deliver AU Course Migration Activity
  • Oversee activity and manage resourcing of all the Course Migration Support Team staff
  • Manage the Course Builders including scheduling work, monitoring performance, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring high standards in all course development activities
  • Monitor and manage the Course Migration support team's work quality and output to ensure AU Course Development standards are met
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in leading and motivating a team, ensuring their output is efficient, on-time and accurate
  • Experience in coordinating resources, scheduling, and meeting deadlines within a dynamic and high-pressure environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery of outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports and documentation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make informed decisions
  • About the Domain

    The UniSA Teaching Innovation Unit (TIU) and the UoA Learning Enhancement & Innovation (LEI) teams, will collaboratively create and lead Course Development/Migration Support Teams. These Teams, comprised of Subject Matter Experts: Curriculum & Pedagogy, Learning Designers, and Media specialists, are tasked with supporting Course Developers in developing courses for the new Adelaide University.
