Applications are invited for a 0.5 FTE post as a Practice Educator for Pharmacy, Grade 5, Permanent at the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences, University of Galway.

We seek to appoint a Pharmacist as a Practice Educator who will manage placements for students on our new MPharm degree programme, while co- ordinating with APPEL (Affiliation for Pharmacy Practice Experiential Learning), the national joint initiative for co-ordination on workplace-based learning and assessment in Pharmacy. This exciting role will be among the first on the newly developed Pharmacy programme in the University of Galway. The successful candidate will shape the Pharmacy degree programme and inspire students towards impactful careers.

Salary €60,424 to €81,917 (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011) and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University's Remuneration policy.

This appointment will be made on the Grade 5 payscale in line with current Government pay policy.
