This is a 5 year, fixed-term contract, funded by the NIHR in which the appointed person will become part of a larger interdisciplinary team of researchers and professional service staff investigating addiction and mental health conditions. Under the leadership of Professor Thomas Phillips, Professor of Nursing in Addiction and Professor Judith Cohen, Hull Health Trials Unit, the research team has secured a five-year award, supported by our partners at the University of York and King's College London, to develop addiction and mental health research based at the University of Hull.

The Addiction and Mental Health Research Team seeks an administrator to join this new initiative. The post involves involvement in project meetings, liaison with research team staff from across the University as well as external partners, and you need to have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Previous experience of working in a busy office environment is essential and you must have good organisational skills, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
