£22,662 rising annually to £24,285 Full Time, Fixed Term - Professional Ser
This is a full-time position until 21st February 2025. The post will be based at our Marston Road Site in Oxford but the successful applicant may need to travel to the Swindon Campus at least once a month.
Oxford Brookes University is one of five approved organisations who deliver the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) Test of Competence. There are 4 other approved universities - Ulster University, University of Northampton, Northumbria University Newcastle, and one approved trust - The Leeds Teaching Hospitals. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our busy administration team, supporting the NMC's Test of Competence for international nurses and midwives who are seeking registration with the NMC. In the role you will meet international candidates who have come from all over the world and you will play an important part of their journey to join the nursing and midwifery register, and complement our UK workforce.

In the role you will be:
● Part of the administration team for the NMC Competence Test Centre at Oxford Brookes University.
● Responsible for dealing with enquiries, both in person and by telephone, from staff, candidates, visitors and the general public and advising on standard Faculty and University procedures.
● Working with the administration team to maintain high quality experience for candidates.
● A self-starter with attention to detail.
● Proactive and driven and able to work in a team.
You should have:
● Good general education to A level or equivalent
● Excellent communication skills.
● Excellent customer-care skills.
● Ability to work on own initiative; team-working experience; problem-solving skills; flexible approach to working.
The working days will be Monday to Friday.
