Your new role We are seeking a proactive, innovative and industry-focused researcher to join our team as an Associate Professor (Advanced Process Control Engineer). This role involves teaching and supervising HDR (Higher Degree by Research) students while developing a demand-driven research program. Periodic travel between Curtin's Kalgoorlie and Perth campuses will be required for teaching, research, and administrative purposes.

About the WA School of Mines: Minerals, Energy and Chemical Engineering (WASM-MECE) This is an exciting and unique to join our world class Teaching & Research team, operating from Curtin's campus in the historic mining town of Kalgoorlie.

Kalgoorlie was established in 1893 during the WA gold rushes. Mining companies established in the Kalgoorlie area work with Curtin to provide students practical, on-ground opportunities as well as research avenues and funding.
