The Applications Administrator, reporting to the Service Improvement Manager, is a key support role within Bond University's Student Systems and Data team. This team manages the student management system, timetabling system, student portal, and government reporting.
The role involves delivering software solutions to stakeholders, enhancing business processes, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining system operations. Key responsibilities include system configuration, health monitoring, performance tracking, data integration, and reporting.
The primary focus is on supporting the Time Edit timetabling application and the Campus M student portal, with potential support for other applications. Collaboration across university departments is essential to maximise system value.
About the person
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in IT or relevant experience. They have extensive ICT experience, excelling in planning, administering, and supporting business applications and data security. They possess strong problem-solving skills, can develop innovative solutions, and manage third-party vendors effectively. They provide technical advice, have strong business analysis and technical writing skills, and ensure comprehensive system documentation.
High accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organisational and relationship management skills are essential. Experience with higher education systems is a plus.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $93,419.65 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
