Assistant Administrator
Description
The School of Health Professions sits within the Faculty of Health who play an active part in addressing today's most challenging healthcare and psychological issues, through research-informed teaching and active, real- world learning. The School is currently seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Administrator to provide programme and placement administrative support.
Under the direction of the Senior Programme Administrator and Programme Administrators and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the provision of a student focused, integrated delivery of cost effective and efficient programme and placement administrative support service.
The tasks will include but not limited to front line contact with students, responding to their queries and processing student travel claims . Working alongside the programme administrators, you will assist in maintaining student records, programme documentation and data reporting using a variety of IT packages in addition to minute taking at Subject Assessment Panels and programme committees. The post requires a flexible attitude in an ever changing environment with good team working, organisational skills, IT and keyboard skills, the ability to identify and seek resolutions to problems, and able to work within tight deadlines. Good communication skills are essential. Experience in a student related environment is preferred.
The post will be located in the Rolle Building situated on the University's main campus within the city centre. Travel to other sites may be necessary.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31st July 2025 due to absence cover.
Remote working is available up to 1 day a week.
