Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref: 530594) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's degree, with at least 3 to 4 years of work experience in the education or business sector. Experience in programme management would be an advantage. They should be a good team player with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese), as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different stakeholders and conduct public speaking. Professional etiquette, good problem-solving skills, commitment to quality and results, and a high level of computer literacy are essential for the position.
The appointees will provide administrative and secretarial support for the planning, execution and development of taught postgraduate programmes, including programme administration, admissions, marketing outreach activities, committee servicing, teaching and learning activities, and perform any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
