The Role
The appointee will support the Communications and Public Relations Team in the
General Office of the School in planning, developing, and implementing a
spectrum of communications and public relationships initiatives. Major
responsibilities include:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support branding
strategies and integrated communications plans that will raise the profile
and enhance the branding of the School
Promote scientific research, educational programmes and public health
service of the School via website, social media, e-bulletin, press release
as well as internal and external communication
Facilitate the production of multimedia deliverables such as graphic
design and video clips
Plan and execute a variety of school-wide events, including forums,
summits, ceremonies, lectures, visits, and other activities
Undertake any other duties assigned
Qualifications and Qualities
Applicants should:
Possess a good bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a major relevant to
Communications, Journalism or Marketing preferred
Have at least 3 years' full-time work experience in corporate
communications, public relations, digital marketing, or a related field
Have excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills in English and
Chinese
Strong IT proficiency including good knowledge in website content
management system, graphic design and video production. Knowledge of using
software for multimedia production will be an advantage
Good understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media,
email marketing and display advertising
Be mature, organized and responsible; demonstrate good interpersonal and
problem-solving skills
Be able to multitask under pressure, work well both independently and in a
team, and work with people from diverse backgrounds
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis for 2 years, to commence as
soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory
performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and
experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University
contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other
benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
