The Dean of the Faculty of Sports Studies of Masaryk University announces a
selection procedure for the academic position of Assistant or Assistant
Professor at the Department of Sports Performance and Diagnostics
The Faculty of Sports Studies at Masaryk University is one of the smaller,
progressively developing faculties. Its mission is to contribute to a
physically active and healthy life for all age and performance groups of the
population and to the advancement of knowledge in the field of sport and
physical activity. The faculty is located in a modern university campus in
Brno-Bohunice.
Suitable candidate:
Completed Master's degree in sport management or economics or other
related field.
Ability to prepare and conduct lectures, seminars and practical exercises
in the field of management.
Active publishing and project work.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent knowledge of
the Czech language (written and verbal).
Ability to work as part of a team and organisational skills - ensure
students' work experience.
Initiative in engaging in departmental or faculty projects.
Interest in professional development in the field of sport management.
Teaching of subjects e.g. sport management, sport marketing, managerial
minimum.
Appreciate:
Demonstrable knowledge of the sports environment - experience of working
with sports clubs or associations.
Experience of managing teams, projects or working with sports institutions
(e.g. sports associations, clubs, schools).
Experience of teaching at a university level.
Experience with e-learning or creating education.
