DUTIES
Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a bipartite, tenure-track position at the rank of assistant teaching professor in the Respiratory Therapy Program, Allied Health Department, Faculty of Science.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach on the theory of assessment and application of respiratory therapy practice in a variety of settings which may include any of the following: classroom, laboratory, and simulation environments.
The successful candidate will teach classes and labs associated with respiratory therapy.
The department has broad interests and seeks a faculty member who demonstrates effective teamwork and communication skills, dissemination of knowledge, and the potential for scholarly activity. In addition to these broad interests, credentials and experience in areas of Anesthesia, Certified Respiratory Education, and/or Interdisciplinary Education and Research will also be given additional considerations.
