DUTIES

Instruct all theoretical and practical aspects of the Heavy Mechanical Foundation Program and/or all levels of the Heavy Duty/Truck and Transport Apprenticeship Programs according to Skilled Trades BC program outlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Served a 4-year Apprenticeship as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic
  • Relevant post-certification experience in Commercial Transport or Heavy- Duty Technician
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Post-secondary teaching experience in Heavy Duty technician/Commercial Transport apprenticeship
  • Assets:

  • Additional certificates, education, experience, or training related to the Trade
  • Provincial Instructor's Diploma or an Education Degree
  • Supervisory experience
  • Automotive Service Tech Red Seal

    $73,665.93 - $114,124.39 ( According to TRUFA Salary Schedule (Range TS01 - TS12) )
