  • About This Opportunity

    The Associate Director, Global Strategy and Partnerships will lead UQ's engagement with global partners, helping shape UQ's international strategy and strengthen our reputation as a leader in teaching, research, and engagement. This includes providing strategic advice on UQ's global positioning, developing new opportunities, representing UQ internationally, and fostering stakeholder collaboration.

    Leading a high-performing team, the role focuses on building strategic global partnerships and implementing systems and frameworks to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve UQ's global engagement activities. The individual will also be expected to travel, on occasion, on short notice, to support key engagements and partnerships.

    As a passionate leader in international education, you will drive impactful global partnerships with strong leadership skills to inspire high-performing teams. Superior interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills are essential for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders across industries and countries. You will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies aligned with broader organisational goals.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the preparation of compelling proposals, reports, and presentations. You will possess strong research and data analysis capabilities, enabling you to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges. Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset will be key to thriving in this role.

    You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
