The Astrophoria Foundation Year (AFY) seeks to appoint a tutor for Mathematics as part of the AFY Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) team.
About the role
The post holder will deliver tutorials for the Mathematics for PPE module as part of the PPE Foundation Year (FY) course. As well as providing teaching and associated duties, including preparation of assessments and admissions, they will contribute to review and improvement of the course.
This is a 0.25 FTE position, available on a fixed-term contract until September 2025. The department is happy to consider a job share, for applicants who would like to apply but would prefer to work a smaller proportion of the total FTE.

The Astrophoria Foundation Year is a one-year fully-funded foundation programme for UK state school students with significant academic potential, who have experienced severe personal disadvantage and/or disrupted education which has resulted in them being unable to apply directly for an Oxford undergraduate degree programme.
