Business Process Analyst X 2

Description

About the role

The University is undertaking an exciting programme of work to implement our new Student Record System, SITS. The scope of the programme is focussed on providing a modern and flexible student record system with a key emphasis on rationalising and standardising student-related processes. As part of this programme we are looking for two Business Process Analysts to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for process improvement and business change to work with a progressive and collaborative team on a large change project.

As a Business Process Analyst, you may work across many different strands of work across the student journey (e.g. Admissions, Finance, Students, Assessments) but we will try to primarily align you to a strand which suits your experience and skills.

Key responsibilities will include facilitating workshops and discussions with people across the University to understand existing practice, learning about the functionality of our new Student Record System, collaborating with people across the organisation to design new processes that align with our project principles, as well as supporting testing, training, go live and early support activities.

This will be a varied role at the heart of one of the University's most exciting projects and will suit someone with a blend of process improvement and analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Experience of working with SITS would be very desirable.

These are full-time positions working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2025 due to business demand.

We fully support flexible working and will be happy to discuss your preferred option in terms of on-site, hybrid, or remote working.

Please refer to the job description which details the key accountabilities and requirements for this role.

For an informal discussion to find out more about the role then please contact Chris Denner by email at [email protected].

Application Process

Please apply online, demonstrating how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the knowledge, qualifications, training, and experience elements of the job description in your supporting statement.

Following the closing date of the vacancy, you will be notified on the outcome of your application in due course.
