About the position: Our Engagement Team is dedicated to enhancing the
University's digital presence and engagement with Schools. We work closely
with Deans to develop School Statements of Strategic Intent and build
School/Department/Clinic websites, including the creation of new content and
stories. Our team manages technical builds, approvals, and consultations, as
well as website maintenance and audits. We also establish and support a social
media presence in Schools, advise on the Office of the Provost intranet site,
and engage across divisions to proactively manage the engagement profile of
Schools.
This position is to form part of a casual pool of employees to assist at
demand with the Engagement Team's activities. As a casual employee you would
be offered shifts based on the operational requirements at the time.
Duties at this level consist of but are not limited to:
Administration/management of internal workflows via Kanban Boards
Write and create engaging content.
Create and manage LinkedIn posts.
Organise and coordinate photoshoots.
Website Audits
Skills and Experience :
Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
completion of an advanced diploma qualification and at least one year's
subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of a diploma
qualification and at least two years' subsequent relevant work experience;
or completion of a Certificate IV and extensive relevant work experience;
or completion of a post-trades certificate and extensive (typically more
than two years') relevant experience as a technician; or an equivalent
combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated experience in writing and/or digital media and/or
administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated
client focus and solution orientated approach.
Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant
policies, procedures or systems and interpretation in the application of
policy and/or precedent.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own
area of responsibility.
