As a Change Manager, you will contribute to a comprehensive change management methodology, working with various departments to ensure consistency, transparency, and engagement at every stage. You will deliver robust employee engagement in ways that foster an inclusive, collaborative culture. - Degree, HND, NVQ 4 qualified or equivalent in relevant subject/relevant formal training, plus a number of years' experience in similar or related roles.

    Or:

    - Significant vocational experience, demonstrating development through involvement in a series of progressively more demanding relevant work/roles, and the acquisition of appropriate professional or specialist knowledge.

    - Change Management certified practitioner (e.g. APMG Practitioner certificate in Change Management or similar)

    - Experience of supporting change initiatives of varying sizes and types that have had a strategic in fluence and impact in a university or similar organisation.

    - Resilient and enthusiastic in the initiation and delivery of operational and process improvement change.

    - Ability to establish processes and procedures and successfully implement them.

    - Innovative and solution driven thinker.

    - Experience of successfully building effective and collaborative relationships and managing stakeholders at different levels within an organisation in order to negotiate and influence outcomes.

    - Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    - Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

    - Energetic and personable, able to balance good relationship skills with a structured approach and the ability to have difficult conversations if needed.

    - Demonstrable ability to develop and deliver effective working relationships with colleagues across services and the wider University community, within either a traditional or matrix environment.

    - A resilient, flexible, people focused, and motivated individual with a pragmatic approach to overcoming challenges and delivering solutions.

    Directorate/Function

Working within a newly created Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO), the office also sits within a newly established Strategy, Performance and Communications Directorate. As well as the SPO, this Directorate includes staff working in Planning and Performance, and Brand, Communications and Public Affairs.
