Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant) in the HKU Horizons Office (Ref.: 531013) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree. They should be self- motivated and able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently. They should have a strong sense of responsibility, a positive attitude, the ability to work independently, and the ability to lead and supervise junior clerical staff. A good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills; the capability to play a pro-active role in problem-solving and co-ordination of work within the team; as well as IT skills (MS Word and MS Excel) are essential.

The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support for learning experience programmes beyond Hong Kong, including organizing meetings and workshops, maintaining databases, and undertaking any other duties as assigned. They will also lead and supervise junior clerical staff; and contribute towards problem-solving and co-ordination of work within the team. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
