Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Sustainability Officer) in the Sustainability Unit of the Estates Office (Ref.: 530134) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Sustainability, Environmental Management or relevant disciplines. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. They should have interest in sustainability and environmental education, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. They should also be self-motivated, attentive to details, confident in dealing with people at all levels, and able to work independently and in a team. Proficiency in PC and software applications (including MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing) is required.
The appointee will be responsible for project coordination, administration and general clerical tasks. He/She will assist in developing and delivering on- campus sustainability initiatives, public environmental education programmes and exhibitions; and perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned. Working on shift duties, weekends and public holidays will be required.
