    Join our dynamic Office of Indigenous Engagement as a Committee Officer, where your exceptional administrative skills will help shape meaningful outcomes. Reporting to the Coordinator, Project and Committees, you'll provide vital support to the Project and Committees Team, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with university standards.

    Your role will involve managing committee processes with precision, from preparing agendas and minutes to tracking actions and maintaining accurate records. You'll also support executive staff by drafting reports and submissions while overseeing essential administrative tasks such as updating portals, maintaining databases, and ensuring policies are followed. With a proactive approach to communication and collaboration, you'll foster positive relationships and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Proficiency in the operation of computers and business support software, including Word, spreadsheeting, database software, email and internet.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of CQUniversity operations, policies and procedures.
  • High-level interpersonal skills with a strong focus on the provision of quality customer service, commitment to teamwork and professionalism.
  • Proven secretarial skills including a high level of communication (oral and written) skills.
