The Planning and Council Secretariat department (PACS) is responsible for University governance and policy-making, University planning and strategy development, and oversees a number of strategically important University-wide change programmes and initiatives, including Professional Services Together and the University's continuous improvement and change team (Focus).
This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality and high-impact communications for the Planning and Council Secretariat department, with a particular focus on supporting the Professional Services Together initiative and the Focus team.

About the Role
This is an exciting and varied role that plays an important part in ensuring effective communications for the Planning and Council Secretariat (PACS) and several strategically important University-wide change programmes, including Professional Services Together. Additionally, the postholder will support the UAS Communications team with high-profile communication events and activities for professional services across the University.
Professional Services Together is the University-wide programme to improve how professional services work across Oxford – making things better for everyone in support of our academic mission. The postholder will make a significant contribution to the Professional Services Together programme and PACS – creating compelling content about a wide range of topics; and engaging effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure effective flows of communication between the programme and professional services staff across the University.

You will be a motivated, creative problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively and getting things done. You will be a good listener and passionate about learning about the experiences of colleagues and turning this into impactful content. You will be able to work in complex environments and manage a diverse range of tasks, drawing on your background of producing content in both print and digital formats.
