About the Position

Bond University are seeking experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Cooks and Commis Chefs to join our friendly and dedicated Food and Beverage team at our Robina campus. 

Responsible for delivering exceptional product and service, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where students and guests can enjoy professional service and a great variety of food. These roles prepare food following set guidelines, ensuring food and beverage procedures comply with State and Federal legislation for OH&S and health and hygiene.

Flexible shifts are available between 6:00am and 11:00pm to support a healthy work-life balance.

About the person

The successful applicants will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • An appropriate level of training to perform cooking duties
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a busy team environment and under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills

Salary details

The hourly base rate for these casual roles is $ 35.45 - $38.76  (includes 25% casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation and any applicable penalty rates.
