Reporting to the Manager, Curriculum and Accreditation, both full-time positions are members of a larger Curriculum Team within Bond University’s Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. These positions are integral members of the professional services team with the primary responsibility to provide high quality administrative services that contributes to the planning and delivery of curriculum functions for the Medical Program.

 

The responsibilities of these roles can be varied and will entail assisting in the detailed organisation of a range of curriculum functions included but not limited to undertaking the logistical planning and arrangements for a range of clinical practice teaching sessions, contribute to timetabling processes, undertake rostering requirements of clinical educators, assist in assessment activities where required, ensure provision and availability of student resources for sessions, coordinate and provide administrative coordination for the professional development clinical education program, and support to the newly established cultural education exchange program. 

 

It is expected that these positions will provide high level advice and support to relevant academic and professional staff in the faculty and liaise with other relevant university departments, ultimately to contribute to the organisation of resources to plan and deliver a high-quality student experience.  Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and ability to multitask is of paramount importance.

 

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine welcomes applications from candidates with previous experience in a service-oriented position who work effectively as part of a team with a customer-first focus while contributing to team outcomes.  This position offers opportunity for those motivated applicants to cross-train and potentially progress their career within the Faculty.

 

About the person

We are seeking dynamic individuals who thrive on working autonomously and can manage multiple priorities whilst being part of a collaborative team in a busy and growing environment. The post holders will be natural organisers and a people-person with excellent communication skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders both within and external to the Faculty and University.

 

In addition having a high standard of administration skills and ability to implement effective administrative and quality processes and procedures, the positions require expertise in the use of software across multiple platforms including Blackboard student learning system (iLearn) and Microsoft Office Suite with the expectation of advanced Excel skills, and experience of other related software would be advantageous for example Web Room Booking system (WRB), and the Student Management System (Student One).

 

Salary details

The salary for the position will commence at $80,787.14 plus 12% superannuation per annum.
