Your Role As the Deputy Director, Digital Products, you will be at the forefront of Curtin's digital evolution. You will lead the charge in aligning our digital strategies with the University's ambitious goals, ensuring that our digital products not only meet but exceed the needs of our stakeholders. Your role will encompass modernising our portfolio, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and building a high-performing team that thrives on innovation and excellence.
You will collaborate closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to bring the University's digital vision to life, transitioning from a project- focused approach to a product-centric mindset. Your leadership will be pivotal in integrating agile methodologies, advancing design and development practices, and managing strategic risks to deliver impactful solutions.
What We're Looking For We're searching for a dynamic leader with a strong delivery and consulting background, particularly someone who has substantial experience in managing digital transformations. Your expertise in AWS technologies will be crucial as you guide the modernisation of our digital infrastructure, leveraging cloud solutions to enhance our capabilities.
Your proven track record in leading large-scale projects, particularly those involving external partners, will be essential. You should be adept at managing complex projects from conception through to successful delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, your ability to develop and nurture a team's capabilities will be key to driving our digital strategy forward and achieving exceptional results.
With a deep understanding of digital transformation, you will be able to inspire and lead teams through change, adapting strategies and processes to meet evolving needs. Your skills in coaching and mentoring product managers and owners will be critical in building a high-performing, innovative team.
