We have an part time vacancy for Domestic Assistant/Cleaner to provide a high quality service in our student accommodation. You'll have a key role in helping students transition from living at home to fully independent living and ensuring all our accommodation users have the best possible experience when staying with us.
As a Domestic Assistant/ Cleaner you will be required to clean student kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms in accordance with service level agreements and standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Full details of this role are included in the Job Description.
The hours for these part time positions (27.5hrs) is 10am to 4pm. As this is a permanent day time role, if you are a student at University of Bath, you may consider applying instead to one of our hourly paid roles. These can be more flexible around your availability (see SU Jobs ).
The residences are mainly used by students, but during summer it is also used by external customers so there is an expectation to work weekends on a rota basis during summer. You will work 5 days out of 7 and have days off during the week when you are required to work at weekends.
Previous experience of cleaning work is highly desirable as is experience of working in a hotel or student accommodation environment. If you enjoy striving to achieve high levels of customer service and working within a team then this could be the role for you.
