About You
To assist in our endeavours to attract high-achieving and ambitious students, we are looking for an event management and marketing professional to join the Domestic Student Recruitment team.
This position is ideal for a professional with exceptional event and project management, marketing and communication skills who would like to be a part of an energetic and creative team.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager: Domestic Student Recruitment, as the Marketing Officer: Events you will be responsible for initiating and managing a range of domestic student recruitment events which contribute to a wide range of marketing, communications and student recruitment programs undertaken by the Unit.
This exciting opportunity will see you coordinate the University's Open Day as well as several other student recruitment and sponsorship events throughout the year.
Within the University this position is known as the Marketing Officer: Events.

The Communications and Marketing Unit's (CMK) role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance the understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities; internally, externally and internationally among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. The Unit plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution's brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.
The Domestic Student Recruitment (DSR) team has overall responsibility for the management of the University's domestic prospective student outreach programs. The team visits a majority of South Australian secondary schools each year, conducts the annual Open Day and provides an enquiry service for prospective students. The DSR team manages University wide activity at the ‘one-to-one' end of the student decision making process.
