Executive Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor and Senior Deputy Vice-
Chancellor
Description
The Office of the Vice-Chancellor is looking for an enthusiastic, well- organised and experienced Executive Assistant to join us. We are responsible for providing a high standard of executive support and administrative services to the Vice-Chancellor and Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, who are the two most senior members of the University Executive Group.
You will be part of a professional team that works collaboratively to ensure that the Vice-Chancellor and Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and members of the University Executive Group are constantly supported to a high level. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. Diplomatic and discreet in approach, you will be skilled at managing a complex workload accurately including electronic diary and correspondence management.
This role is very busy and fast-paced. You will require initiative and must be able to respond intelligently and appropriately to a variety of urgent requests. You will need diplomatic and insightful communication skills so that you can deal effectively with complex situations, and work with a wide range of people.
This is a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. It will appeal to suitably qualified candidates seeking an exciting and challenging role.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours a week. Flexible working options including job share will be considered.
