    CQUniversity's Office of Education, Strategy and Quality is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Officer and Coordinator Projects, to provide high-level support to the Deputy Vice-President.

    In this dynamic role, you will provide high-level advisory, analytical and support services to the Deputy Vice-President. Keeping abreast of critical and emerging issues, undertaking research, monitoring and delivery of educational project and analysing situational factors and advising the Deputy Vice- President as appropriate.

    You will be instrumental in driving organisational growth and advancing educational initiatives. We seek a proactive and detail-focused professional with substantial experience in executive support and project management, as well as proficiency in managing large corporate systems. You will oversee projects, allocate resources effectively, provide comprehensive secretariat services, and ensure strict adherence to university policies and procedures while maintaining a consistently high standard of service.

  • Position Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the tertiary education system, with the ability to interpret, implement, and improve policies and administrative processes in line with CQUniversity standards.
  • Postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards them) and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, management expertise, and professional experience.
  • Leading and supervising a team of support staff ensuring a high level of service is provided across the portfolio supporting operations and projects.
  • Proven experience in an executive officer role supporting senior leaders in large organisations, with advanced research, analytical, and problem- solving skills to address critical issues and provide practical recommendations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional ability to liaise, consult, and negotiate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire teams, prioritise workloads, and deliver high-quality, professional services.
