We are seeking a Faculty Executive Support Coordinator to provide excellent Personal Assistant (PA) and administrative support to the Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and the Environment. Previous experience of diary management is essential as well as good working knowledge of administrative procedures. Knowledge and experience of Higher Education or public sector administration is desirable.
You will provide electronic diary management for this role, deal with associated arrangements, setting up, scheduling and prioritising appointments, meetings, and visits accordingly. Supporting the Deputy Dean means you are dealing with a very busy senior staff member that requires quick thinking and flexibility to adapt your workload throughout the day to their and the office needs.
A key member of the Faculty Office you will contribute to the overall smooth running of the faculty by providing exceptional administrative support. The role will provide a highly efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support service to the faculty leadership team, and Heads of School, covering for absent team members when required.
The PersonWe are looking for a professional, friendly, self-motivated, and excellent team player. You will be working in an inclusive environment alongside a small but friendly team that supports one another through the day to day running of the faculty office.
You will have excellent communications skills, attention to detail, and a confident and proactive approach to your work. The ability to build good working relationships across the faculty and university is essential, and listening effectively and responding sensitively to others is important. You will work closely with the Faculty Operations Support Manager and the other Executive Support Coordinator.
Please note this is an office-based role and not hybrid, and you will be based across two campuses, Penrhyn Road and Roehampton Vale, so please consider this when applying for the role that you will be required to be in the office full time.
