Offer Description

The Dean invites applications for two Assistant Professor positions in the Department of Nuclear Chemistry according to § Section 77 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll.,

on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Additions to Other Acts (Act on Higher Education Institutions), as amended.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in chemical disciplines,
  • at least 5 years of experience in the field of chemistry (research, development, industry),
  • publishing activities in chemical and physical-chemical fields,
  • experience with writing and submitting research projects and grants,
  • knowledge of Czech and English languages at least at level B2,
  • pedagogical practice at university is an advantage,
  • practice in a radiochemical laboratory is an advantage.
  • Estimated scope of work:

  • creative activity oriented to the areas of chemistry of superheavy elements and/or ultra-trace analysis,
  • preparation and work on research projects,
  • research collaboration with foreign laboratories,
  • teaching of compulsory and obligatory elective courses within the study programme Nuclear Chemistry,
  • supervision of research works of bachelor, master or even doctoral students.

  • fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension, work time equivalent by agreement,
