  • Role Description

    We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic and fully qualified professional Fitness Instructors, with a positive 'can do' attitude to contribute to the success of York Sport. You will provide effective, professional and high- quality fitness-based services to our members and guests, within a fitness and group exercise environment at York Sport.

    You should hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and be qualified in exercise to music, or hold similar group-based exercise qualifications, and have proven experience of working within the fitness and leisure industry.

    You will have the ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be required to deliver excellent customer care and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to adding value to individuals and York Sport, through quality fitness provision.

    Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

    The rate of pay is £14.14 per hour.
