About You
We are seeking a dynamic, well-organised, details-focused and experienced governance officer with a passion for education and making a positive impact in the sector. The ATN Directorate team is a small and supportive team who are passionate about what we do – from policy development and advocacy, communications and public affairs, to programs of work which facilitate collective action and excellence on behalf of our member universities. We are curious to our core and driven by actively creating value and impact for our universities, students and society.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
Experience in providing high-level administrative and governance support to academic or corporate committees, including preparation of agendas, papers, minutes, correspondence and other Committee documentation to a high standard using plain English.
Demonstrated project management experience, applying principles and practices to achieve project outcomes, ability to prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines in a high-volume environment, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities for existing policies, processes and procedures.
Ability to use initiative to solve problems and undertake decision making relevant to the duties and responsibilities.
Well-developed skills and demonstrated experience using various digital technologies including the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, contract management systems, content management systems, and ability to quickly develop skills for using new platforms.
