Join the HDR Partnerships Team in the Graduate School, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting Higher Degree Research (HDR) activities and programs. Working closely with the HDR Partnerships Manager and Senior Co- ordinator, you will be an integral part of the team. You will manage a variety of tasks, including providing logistical support for HDR partnerships, coordinating HDR student mobility and internships, and tracking key partnership activities. Your role will also involve responding to enquiries from HDR candidates and researchers, ensuring seamless communication and the efficient operation of programs.
Key responsibilities will include :
Provide administrative and logistical support for HDR Partnerships, HDR cohorts, and related activities
Support HDR student mobility and internships by handling related administrative tasks and associated scholarships.
Track partnership activities and deadlines by maintaining and updating the team's planning calendar.
Respond to telephone and email enquiries from HDR candidates, researchers and other stakeholders across the UQ community, providing accurate information and follow-up as needed.

Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Knowledge of University student and academic administration policies, procedures and processes, particularly related to HDR programs, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
Experience in preparing and supporting events, information sessions, and presentations, including proficiency with platforms like Zoom.
Ability to use sound judgement and initiative in non-routine situations, with a demonstrated capacity to adapt to change.
High level written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong organisational abilities to liaise effectively with people at all levels, set priorities, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy and attention to detail in your work.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
