The role

  • To deliver a wide range of catering services, supporting eight cafes, two kitchens, conferences, and various high-profile events.
  • Utilise your creative flair to develop menus and new products for students and staff.
  • Responsible for training and developing a team of chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Lead all kitchen and production activities, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Ensure control of kitchen costs by liaising and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Lead internal and external event catering, planning menus and functions ranging from 10-400 covers.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management, maintaining 5 star kitchens.
  • Supporting the opening and development of three new cafes in the New Year

    With a culture of collaboration and continuous learning you will receive support from the Senior operations team and catering administration.

    This is an opportunity to work alongside a brigade of chefs and kitchen assistants as well as health and safety coordinators to ensure systems are in place in an organisation where staff development is a priority.
