We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to fill the role of Interim Head of Central Accounting while the substantive postholder is seconded to a leadership role for the Financial Systems Replacement Project which is due to go live in 2027. As a leader for Central Accounting team, you will sure strategic and operational success through innovation, planning, organisational effectiveness and delivery.
We are looking for an individual with gravitas developed through extensive experiential learning and career progression. The individual will have earned credibility by operating within formal governance structures such as board, finance and audit committees.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to be involved with finance transformation projects including Financial Systems Replacement (FSR) and Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT).

Location
The University is supportive of hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment. Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
