In anticipation for the next phase of our digital roadmap, we are seeking a
Technology Asset Coordinator for our IT Product Delivery team. Our
IT Product Delivery team are uniquely dedicated to developing and
enhancing digital experiences for various business areas within Curtin,
including the development and operationalisation of new and existing digital
products.
Your new role
As the Technology Asset Coordinator , you will expertly manage technology
assets, licenses, and agreements, driving operational excellence and
compliance. This role oversees software asset management, coordination and
review of major contracts, addressing escalations, and staying at the cutting
edge of industry trends to elevate customer satisfaction and minimise
compliance risks.
In this role you will:
Coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of IT software asset
management function, ensuring day to day priorities are effectively
managed.
Perform optimisation and efficiency activities focused on fiscal outcomes
in Technology Assets.
Proactively maintain the Technology Asset management platform and identify
opportunities for optimisation focused on cost savings.
Coordinate and conduct software licensing reviews upon renewal/annual
payment of each software contract.
Build, maintain and manage relationships with client stakeholders together
with the relevant University stakeholders to strive for optimum customer
experience related to Technology Asset management.
Stay current on the latest developments in the industry and strive to
continually improve customer satisfaction and reduce software compliance
liability.
Lead strategic projects in the SAM domain to improve services/capabilities
in alignment with strategic plans.
Key Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in technology asset
management.
Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or ITAM certification.
Prior experience working with Technology Asset Management Systems in a
large and complex organisation.
Knowledge of software licensing requirements.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Additional Requirements:
Must have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the
role.
Based in Perth, WA. Relocation and sponsorship support are not available.
