IT Manager (holding the functional title of Manager (Multimedia)) in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref.: 529955). The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Creative Media or equivalent, with at least 4-5 years' relevant experience, including supervisory experience. They should have at least 5 years' experience in multimedia production, e-learning initiatives; e-learning portal management, website and social media management, events production, branding and publicity, preferably in the higher education sector; and proven working experience with content expert, instructional designers, vendors and stakeholders. They should have a thorough knowledge of multimedia production with diverse skill sets of using the full spectrum of Adobe Creative tools, web-based UI/UX frameworks, CMS, and LMS. An good command of English and Chinese, as well as a high level of communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. Experience in applying AI-assisted tools at various stages in multimedia production life cycle is an advantage.

The appointee will be responsible for planning and overseeing all stages of multimedia and e-learning production, providing training workshops in relation to EdTech and AI, and perform other duties as assigned. The appointee is expected to handle innovative e-learning projects, multimedia creation and digital marketing, ensuring that project deliverables and publicity materials are compelling and effective; incorporate the latest technology trends to create interactive learning experience; improve student engagement and learning outcomes; implement and manage project schedules; supervise other colleagues to work as team.
